CBS2 News is following a developing story about a bomb threat that has forced the evacuation of a local high school this afternoon.

A bomb threat was called into a Marion middle school early this afternoon, 36 minutes after a similar call was received at a central Iowa school. They weren't the only two.

Tuesday morning (1/19), Iowa City West High School was evacuated after a bomb threat was called into the John County Emergency Communications Center. Today, Iowa City Police say they've made an arrest in the case.

The Eastern Iowa Airport in Cedar Rapids is back open after being shut down several hours due to a bomb threat.
