Sandwich Chain Supporting Hunger Action Month

September is Hunger Action Month, and your local Subway is helping in a big way.

Eastern Iowa Subway restaurants are providing up to 60,000 meals to area food banks to support the Feeding America organization.

Help a great cause by feeding others while feeding yourself and your family. When you eat at participating Subways in September, your purchase goes toward this endeavor. For every 2 meals purchased now through September 30, more than 80 participating Subways will donate one.

Meals can include subs, sandwiches or wraps, with any drink and chips or two cookies. Participating local food banks include the HACAP Food Reservoir in Hiawatha, the Northeast Food Bank in Waterloo, and River Bend Food Bank in Davenport.
