Robert Herjavec To Speak in Corridor on Wednesday
Robert Herjavec has been one of the stars and cornerstones of the show "Shark Tank" for 11 years, and he's coming to Eastern Iowa.
On the show, the panel of business investors and owners listen to pitches from entrepreneurs and everyday people looking for a hand-up on starting or continuing their small businesses. He also owns his own cybersecurity company based in Toronto.
Herjavec brings that expertise to Iowa in person this Wednesday, November 20th. He will host a talk on how 5G technology could be the wave of the future, including in Iowa.
The appearance is also billed as a "networking event" that will take place from 4:30-8:30 p.m. at the Coralville Marriott. More details can be found here.
U.S. Cellular announced in October it will roll out 5G technology in Iowa in early 2020 and Herjavec will discuss how that will impact its users. He's also expected to talk a little about what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur and business owner.
