YouTube TV subscribers like myself have had a rough start to 2025. We've had to endure ANOTHER subscription price increase, and now we're facing the loss of over 20 popular channels.

YouTube TV is in the midst of a dispute with Paramount over the distribution rights of their channels. Android Police reports that this type of fight has happened before. Back in 2021 a dispute between Disney and Google nearly resulted in all Disney-owned channels leaving YouTube TV. But a deal was struck at the last minute and the outage was avoided. Will the same happen with Paramount? If not, YouTube TV subscribers like me could be losing tons of channels as soon as today. Here is what could be going away soon.

  • BET
  • BET Her
  • CBS
  • CBS Sports Network
  • CMT
  • Comedy Central
  • Comet TV
  • DAB
  • MTV
  • MTV Classic
  • MTV2
  • My Network TV
  • Newsnation
  • Nick Jr.
  • Nick Toons
  • Nickelodeon
  • Paramount
  • POP
  • Smithsonian Channel
  • Start TV
  • Teen Nick
  • TV Land
  • VH1

Some of those channels are heavy hitters! Not to mention losing your local CBS station in the process! I logged on to my YouTube TV account this morning while writing this article and I still had access to Paramount programming.

Android Police reports that if the outage does happen YouTube TV subscribers will get a monthly bill credit of $8.
