Cedar Rapids Has A New Shop For The Outdoor Adventure-Seeker
A brand new kind of store is open in Cedar Rapids, and outdoor enthusiasts are going to love it!
Fall is a great time to experience the great outdoors from camping to biking, and hiking to tailgating, and that's what SOKO Outfitters is all about. SOKO is co-owned and operated by CEO Steve Shriver, a major developer, business owner and advocate in the NewBo District, who has now brought some new business to the Czech Village Area.
Co-owner Ryan Sunderman said in a press release,
"SOKO is not just for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts. The same gear you use to climb a mountain can be the same gear you wear in February walking your dog. We have drinkware, coolers, and layered clothing that are perfect for tailgating"
The store will also carry gear for hiking, camping, even yoga equipment, featuring top brands including Chaos, Garmin, Farm to Feet, The North Face and many more...and stuff for your aforementioned four-legged adventure companion, too!
It's even equipped with an indoor rock-climbing wall!
SOKO Outfitters is holding their grand opening on Sunday, October 7 from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. so if it sounds like an exciting place that's right up your alley, visit them at 41 16th Ave. SW in Cedar Rapids. Otherwise, their regular hours are 10-6 Monday-Wednesday, 10-8 on Thursday, 10-6 on Friday/Saturday and 11-6 on Sunday.
