Miss Iowa USA 2017 is on ‘The Bachelor’ This Season
Last night, ABC debuted the very first episode of season 24 of 'The Bachelor.' Peter Weber sent home eight out of the 30 contestants during the first rose ceremony on Monday night, but Des Moines, Iowa-native Kelsey Weier was not one of them.
According to her official show bio, "Kelsey was born and raised in Iowa with her fraternal twin sister and younger sister." If her name sounds familiar, it's probably because Kelsey was crowned Miss Iowa USA back in 2017. The bio adds:
"Coming from the pageant world, Kelsey is an old pro at competing with other women, but don't get it twisted, she's not looking for drama. Kelsey has had her share of relationship issues in the past, but thanks to frequent Pilates classes, she's in peak physical and spiritual form! She's hoping to find a partner to travel the world, experience new cultures and enjoy a good glass of red wine with. At 28, she has presumably lived more life than many of the other girls and knows what she wants: Peter Weber."
The website Heavy states that Kelsey is a "professional clothier." She works for Tom James, the world’s largest clothing manufacturer of custom clothing. The article also revealed that host Chris Harrison said that Kelsey is "definitely one to watch" this season. It looks to be true since there is already a video online of Kelsey on a 1-on-1 date. Did the couple visit Iowa for the Hometown Dates episode? I guess we will have to wait and see!
We wish Kelsey the best of luck on 'The Bachelor' this season! You can read more about her HERE.
