Megan Gustafson's jersey is now the second to be retired in the history of Iowa women's basketball.

The retirement ceremony for Gustafson's number 10 happened after the Iowa women defeated Michigan State Sunday afternoon at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. It was the Iowa women's basketball team's 32nd consecutive home win. Iowa last lost at home on January 28, 2018.

Sunday afternoon's crowd in Iowa City was the fourth-largest in the history of the program... 13,420. I'd be willing to bet many of them were there to see the retirement ceremony.

Megan Gustafson's career stats are simply amazing. She scored 2,804 points, an Iowa basketball record for both men and women. She set the all-time Big Ten record for rebounds in her career with 1,459.

Here are video highlights and photos from the ceremony for Megan Gustafson, the 2018-19 National Player of the Year:

The only other jersey retired in Iowa women's basketball history is the #30 of Michelle "Ice" Edwards. She scored 1,821 during her four years at Iowa, from 1985 to 1988. Edwards is currently an assistant coach for C. Vivian Stringer at Rutgers. Below is a look back at her career. Edwards was inducted into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in June of 2014. Someday, Megan will be there too.
