An exciting event celebrating brews and music is returning to Eastern Iowa.

Vinyl Cup started out as a Facebook group in 2017, and over the past seven years has quickly become a popular music hub here in the Midwest.

With locations in Des Moines, Cedar Falls, and Omaha; Vinyl Cup appeals to the avid record collector and the newbie who is looking to dip their toe into the vinyl world.

According to their official website, the team's goal is to, "connect people over great music and brew."

Vinyl Brew Returns

Vinyl Cup will be putting on an event in Waterloo called Vinyl Brew. 

You'll be able to listen to some vinyl while enjoying some delicious local beer.

The organizers of the event will be spinning vinyl over the course of the day and selling new & used records. In addition, there will be some special guests that avid collectors will definitely want to meet.

PLUS, it's free to attend!

Jay Vigon & Margo Nahas, the artists behind some of the most iconic vinyl covers will be meeting guests PLUS they will have prints of their work available for you to check out.

They have become well-known for their work on legendary album covers such as Van Halen (1984), Prince (Purple Rain), Bon Jovi, Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac, Devo, Black Sabbath, and Stevie Wonder.

Where Will Vinyl Brew Be?

This party will be going on at SingleSpeed Brewing Company in Waterloo, located at 325 Commercial Street.

When Is the Event?

According to Vinyl Cup's social media post, the event will kick off at 11am and will go to 5pm on Saturday, February 24th. It's free, open to the public, and meant for all ages.
