Local Animal Shelter Up For Major Grant

Healthy Paws Pet Insurance & Foundation selects six non-profit organizations relating to animal rescue and health to compete to win up to $20,000 in grants.

This year, a local shelter is in the running and needs your help. It's a simple process to vote for Fur Fun Rescue in Cedar Rapids for the annual "Rescue Race":

• Visit this website.
• Find the story about Baloo's Rescue and Miraculous Transformation.
• Click on the vote button which will make the others fade.
• Scroll to the bottom of the screen to select the state you live in and verify that you are not a robot and submit your vote
• Tell all your friends and family to vote, too, because you can only vote once per device.
• You must complete all of the above steps by this Thursday, July 25 for your vote to count and help Fur Fun Rescue.
