The 21st season of The Bachelorette began on July 8th of 2024 and the lead woman of the season is Jenn Tran.

At the beginning of the season, 25 men battle it out for Jenn's love and affection, and the winner will be selected (most likely) in September. According to ABC

"Tran is a sweet and compassionate woman who has dedicated her life to helping others and is currently studying to become a physician assistant. The bilingual Vietnamese beauty currently resides in Miami and is ready to find love with a man who's as reliable and thoughtful as she is. When she's not studying, Tran loves reading, paddleboarding, and traveling whenever she has the chance."

As someone who does not watch The Bachelorette, I must admit I am not caught up with this season. By not caught up, I mean I've not seen 1 second of any episode. I struggle with sitting through the cringe that is shown on reality TV. I'm not hating on those who enjoy the drama and watch that type of entertainment, I just get terrible second-hand embarrassment and I can't watch it.

I don't know anything about any of the contestants on this season of the show. Maybe the new season of the "Golden Bachelorette" will be more my style. I'm doubtful but you never know.

For those who are fans of the show, have you ever wondered what are the odds of becoming the Bachelorette? Have you ever thought, "I'd be a perfect choice to be the bachelorette?" Or maybe you have a sister, daughter, cousin, best friend, etc, who would make an incredible contestant.

Becoming the Bachelorette

As you very well know, there can only be 1 woman selected each season, and I was curious what are the odds of being chosen. Being cast on a reality TV show usually involves multiple rounds of auditions. Generally, there is a preliminary audition, you hopefully receive a call to come back for another audition, and sometimes there's a 3rd and final audition.

There is also a laundry list of eligibility requirements for being on the show. There are far too many for me to list for you but you can see those requirements at BachelorNation.

If you believe you are destined for love by becoming the Bachelorette...you might want to continue swiping on Tinder and Bumble. The Bachelor/Bachelorette is the 3rd hardest reality TV show to get on. Casino Reviews used Google search data to find out how many applicants are applying for certain reality TV shows, and which shows were the hardest to join.

Your chances of becoming the woman with the roses are 2499 to 1. Maybe "Too Hot To Handle" is more your speed?
