A Vigil was held in Iowa City by 22 No More, a group dedicated to raising awareness that, on average, 22 veterans take their life every day. This is in part due to Veterans Affairs slow progress or in some cases the complete lack of services offered to those in need of psychiatric help or other health services. The vigil reminded patrons that Brandon Ketchum  took his life after being denied Psychiatric services when requested from Iowa City Veteran's Affairs. Check out this video from The Nightly Show below.

"When veterans commit suicide or when they come back from combat, services just aren't available or they're hard to get or access, and when they ask for help the helps not there." Kristine Nichols, Brandon Ketchum's partner.
