Iowa Baker Set to Compete on Food Network’s Cookie Challenge
We've got a lot of talent here in Iowa. We've had contestants on TV shows like Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, Survivor, American Ninja Warrior, and now, the Food Network.
Tiphanie Cannon owns the bakery 'Oh So Sweet by Tiphanie' in downtown Davenport. She makes cookies, cakes, and so much more. It all looks incredible and this month Cannon will be putting her skills to work on the Food Network. Cannon, who is a native of Bettendorf, competed earlier this year with four other contestants on the Food Networks "Christmas Cookie Challenge". All of the contestants baked and decorated their best Christmas cookies and the winner would receive $10,000.
Cannon told the Quad City Times that competing was the "most stressful things she's ever done in her life" and that keeping the specifics of the show quiet has been "the hardest secret she's ever had to keep in her life". We're looking forward to seeing how she does.
The Food Network's "Christmas Cookie Challenge" airs Monday, November 11.
