According to KCRG TV 9, "The Appanoose County Sheriff's Office says it has found the body of Curtis Ross, a man who went missing while hunting over the weekend." Ross was just 31 years-old, and a resident of Cedar Falls.

At this time, there are very few details to pass along. The family has started a GoFundMe page that's already raised almost $4,000 dollars. The family posted the following:

Curtis Lee Ross was a great brother, uncle, son and friend. He passed away doing what he loved, hunting and being outdoors. He left behind so many people who loved him. This was such a sudden event it took the whole family by surprise. Curtis did not have insurance. We are asking for help in covering Curt's final expenses. If you can't afford to give money, hugs and prayers are always welcome.

This case is still under investigation. If you have any information, you can call the Appanoose County Law Center at (641) 437-7100. You can visit the GoFundMe page at this link.
