Hitting The Course And Finishing What I Started
I was finally able to hit the "links" this week and finish what I started. About a month ago I tried to go out and play 9 holes, but it was a chemo treatment week and I only made it through three holes and a weak tee shot on the 4th hole before I called it quits for the day with zero left in the tank.
This past Monday I gave it another try. My parents were in town for a couple days and we headed out to Ellis Golf Course. It was hot and a bit sticky, but I am happy to say I played all nine holes and even managed to make a few impressive shots. That's the thing about golf - those impressive shots keep you coming back. Even with those impressive shots - I still won't tell you my score. But I will guarantee you I'll be back out soon to play again!
