There's no doubt that 3am is ridiculously early. Scott Steele is crazy (or stupid – depending on how you look at it) enough to have been getting up at that hour every weekday for the past 13 years. Since coming over to co-host the morning show on KHAK in 2007, Steele has learned a lot about what the country music lifestyle is all about. His favorite part of working for KHAK is without a doubt the listeners. When Steele isn't working on the show, chances are you'll find him in the company of his wife Misty and their bulldog Chilli. Steele loves his Illinois sports teams including the Chicago Bears, White Sox, and the Illinois Fighting Illini (which is admittedly tough being in the middle of Hawkeye country.) He also loves to cook and play Texas Hold 'Em. His favorite “non-Iowa” places to be include Las Vegas and the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee. Steele is also a cancer survivor and says he continues to be blown away by the support, prayers, and thoughts he receives. You can follow his journal at www.caringbridge.org/visit/scottwillwin
