Have Trouble Remembering Names? These Tips May Help You Avoid Embarrassing Situations.

I am horrrrrible at remembering names. I can be introduced to someone and 20 seconds later if you asked me their name I would have no clue.I'm not proud of this fact, but I may have found some great tips that help you remember a person's name - if you have trouble remembering them.  These tips could help you personally or professionally.

1. Introduce them to a friend.  They may introduce themselves, and then you'll get to hear their name a second time.

2. Ask them how to spell their name.  This works if they have an unusual name, but if their name is Tom or Mary, you could be busted.

3.  Ask them for a business card.  People love to give them out, so if you ask them for it they will be thrilled.  Plus, you'll have the card to remind you.
