After Iowa fell to 0-3 in Big Ten play, it almost felt as if the season was about to be washed down the drain. All it took was a little home cooking as Iowa got it's first Big 10 win of the year as they knocked off Nebraska 93-84 Sunday in Iowa City.

One person missing a bit this season has been junior point guard Jordan Bohannon. The Mario native hadn't had a breakout game yet this season. He did on Sunday. Bohannon had a game 25 points to lead the Hawkeyes. A new addition to the starting lineup also played big for Iowa. Ryan Kriener got the start, filling in for the injured Luka Garza. He made Fran McCaffery look good with 14 points in 25 minutes of play.

All five Iowa starters hit double figures on Sunday. Isiah Moss had 12 points and a career-high 10 rebounds, while Tyler Cook added 16 points and drew eight fouls against Cornhusker players. Iowa's record sits at 12-3, 1-3 in Big Ten Play. The Hawkeyes play again Wednesday on the road against Northwestern.
