Fuzzy’s Taco Shop in Coralville is Having a Grand Reopening Today
The Fuzzy's Taco Shop in the Iowa River Landing in Coralville has been closed the last several months, but you'll be able to head back today for some great food and big prizes!
Back in March, we told you that Fuzzy's Taco Shop in Coralville was temporarily closed for some "large-scale renovations." Well, those renovations are complete and the popular restaurant is back open for business!
Fuzzy's Taco Shop, located at 201 E 9th St in the Iowa River Landing, has a new look and a new owner. The official press says:
"The restaurant has been renovated including improvements to the dining room, bar, patios, décor and more. The space features a roll up garage doors that lead out to two expanded patios to allow for an open concept vibe no matter where guests sit in the restaurant."
The restaurant also features an "expanded beer program," new flavors of margaritas, and a new menu item called the "Beerita." As far as food goes, the newly-renovated location will now serve all-day breakfast and a few new limited-time-only options.
Today, Fuzzy's will be hosting a grand reopening featuring live music, a ribbon cutting, and a MAJOR giveaway. If you stop in, you'll be able to sign up to win free tacos for a YEAR! 50 lucky people will win those tacos. Plus, the first 100 in the door will get a free swag bag with all sorts of goodies. Fuzzy's is open daily from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The reopening of Fuzzy's Taco Shop isn't the only restaurant news from the Iowa River Landing. We found out a few weeks ago that Tribute Eatery and Bar has taken over the former Louie's Wine Dive at 901 E. Second Ave. They hope to be open for business later this month.
