Foods That Taste Better as Leftovers
Which foods do you think taste even better the next day?
As a kid, I absolutely hated leftovers. I wanted something new for dinner everyday. As an adult? I LOVE leftovers. Not only does it mean that I don't have to cook, but sometimes leftovers taste even better than they did when they were fresh. I was looking over a Reddit thread where people were asked to list foods that taste better as leftovers, and I have to say that I agree with most of them. Here are some of the items people listed:
- Fried Chicken
- Stew
- Pizza
- Chili
- Lasagna
- Chinese Takeout
- Bean or Grain Salads
- Coleslaw
- Salsa
Is there anything better than cold, leftover pizza? Nope. And chili absolutely tastes better the next day, because it really gives the ingredients a little more time to soak together. I'm also a huge fan of leftover fried chicken (especially from KFC), and boneless almond chicken always tastes better the second time around. I would also like to add chicken wings to that list, because I love me some leftover parm-garlic wings.
