The next time you find yourself at Lindale Mall in Cedar Rapids or Coral Ridge Mall in Coralville, check out one of these new businesses to grab food or drinks! Two have recently opened, and two others are coming soon.

Cafe Beignets

Last week, we told you about the grand opening of Cafe Beignets at Lindale Mall. After gaining popularity as a new vendor at this season's Cedar Rapids Downtown Farmers Markets, the cafe now has a more permanent location inside the mall's food court. The stand officially opened on on October 1st, and offers their signature beignets, as well as coffee, cake, cookies, and other daily food specials. You can read more about Cafe Beignets HERE.

But, Cafe Beignets isn't the only new addition at Lindale! There's another new business that opened last month, and another that's on the way soon! Here are details on both The Grand White Rabbit Tea Co. and Auntie Anne's:

The Grand White Rabbit Tea Company

Directly in the center of Lindale Mall is The Grand White Rabbit Tea Company, which is described as "a modern, elevated craft tea experience paired with gourmet hand pies." This is only the second location for the business, with the other in Fredericksburg, Virginia at the Spotsylvania Towne Centre.

The Grand White Rabbit Tea Company officially opened at Lindale on Saturday, September 27th, and offers a variety of drinks, like Organic House‑Made Fruit Purée Matchas, Milk Tea, Color‑Changing Lemonade, and Plant Energy Fusions.

In addition to beverages, the stand also serves "Australians' favorite comfort food," savory hand pies. Flavors include the Classic Aussie Beef & Gravy Pie, the Rustic Pork & Thyme Pie, the Miso Chicken & Mushroom Pie, the Smokey BBQ Beef, Jalapeno, & Cheddar Aged Pie, and more. The menu also features a classic quiche.

The Grand White Rabbit Tea Company is open during regular mall hours: Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday & Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Auntie Anne's

Back in early September, it was announced that, after almost 18 years, Pretzelmaker would be leaving Lindale Mall at the end of the month. The good news? Pretzelmaker's location on Blairs Ferry Rd NE across from Target will NOT be closing. And, they have a drive-thru! You can check them out Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The other good news? Another pretzel shop will be taking over Pretzelmaker's former home inside the mall: Auntie Anne's!

Auntie Anne's offers classic pretzels, pretzel nuggets, pretzel dogs, and lemonade, all in a variety of flavors. Plus, there are seven different dipping sauces to choose from: cheese, cream cheese, honey mustard, marinara, sweet glaze, and hot salsa cheese.

There is no official opening date listed for the Auntie Anne's at Lindale Mall yet, but work is underway! You can also check out the location inside of Coral Ridge Mall to get your fix.

Speaking of Coral Ridge Mall, our last bit of food court news comes from there! The Coralville Mall has signage up for a new stand at one end of the food court called La Fry Co.

La Fry Co.

According to social media, La Fry Co. comes from the folks behind another already established Corridor business, La Wine Bar & Restaurant.

Located at 180 E Burlington Street in Iowa City, La Wine Bar & Restaurant specializes in "authentic Korean food," like Korean BBQ, Bento Boxes, Fried Chicken, and more. La Fry Co. will focus on one dish in particular: fried chicken. The new eatery says that they will serve "golden, crispy fried chicken" and "global-inspired sauces."

We don't know much else about La Fry Co. yet, including an opening date, but for the latest updates, you can follow the official Instagram account HERE.
