The FEMA Disaster Recovery Center in Linn County will close on Saturday, September 26 at 6 p.m. After that time, with no other way to apply in person at that location, residents will need to apply online, via phone, or FEMA mobile app for storm recovery assistance.

KCRG reported the DRC location near the Kernels ballpark remains open through this coming week and is located at 950 Rockford Rd., in the parking area between the ballpark and Kingston Stadium.  Hours of operation remain 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday - Saturday.

Applications for FEMA assistance can be submitted until October 19. But the process will then move to online, with phone assistance also available.

FEMA even has a mobile app to help you on how to apply. You can contact them by phone at (800) 621-3362. They are open 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. Central time, Monday-Sunday.

KEEP LOOKING: See What 50 of America's Most 'Pupular' Dog Breeds Look Like as Puppies

Looking at puppies is a treat for the soul. But give credit to kittens, they own it. Parakeets are cute in a bird kind of way, and fish glowing under lights will always set a good vibe. So we hope you've enjoyed this gallery of pets as much as we have enjoyed creating it for you.
