Can I Just Show Up?
No. Reservations are REQUIRED at Luna Valley Pizza Farm. That's because you have to place your pizza order in advance.
How Do I Make a Reservation?
Reservations for pizza nights can only be made the week of your visit. The official website reads:
"We start taking reservations at noon on Mondays for the upcoming weekend and take reservations one week at a time. You will be asked to select your reservation time and place your pizza order."
Reservations can be made on their website HERE.
What Kind of Pizza Do They Serve?
The pizza menu at Luna Valley Pizza Farm changes from week to week, but they all feature locally sourced ingredients from farms and small businesses. Pizzas are 16” with the standard crust, or 12” with the gluten free cauliflower crust. They can also make accommodations for dairy-free and vegan diners.
Can I Bring My Own Beverages?
No. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase at the farm.
At the pizza bar, you can choose from a selection of Spring Grove and Wiscopop soda, local beer/cider (on-tap), and wine, which can be purchased by the glass or by 1/2 liter or 1 liter carafe.
Inside the farm store, you can purchase wine by the bottle and beer by the can. Non-alcoholic options include "Organic Valley milk cartons, juice boxes, Hedge Apple Kombucha, Lemonade, Limeade, Waterloo sparkling water, Olipop, and Untitled Art n/a beer."
What Else Should I Know Before My Visit?
First of all, guests are welcome to bring plates, silverware, napkins, and trash bags with them. You are responsible for removing all your own trash/recycling. Blankets, chairs, and/or card tables are also welcome, although there are lots of picnic tables available under the covered pavilion. If you'd rather take your pizza to-go, that's also an option. As far as bathrooms go, there are two restrooms open to guests.
All ages are welcome at pizza nights, but keep in mind that it is a working farm so you'll need to supervise your children. Unfortunately, pets are not welcome.
And finally, here's what you need to know about parking:
"If you are planning to enjoy your pizza on the farm, please park in the pasture parking area (located halfway down our driveway). We have a limited number of easier access parking spots across from our farm store. Please save these for folks with mobility concerns, picking up pizza to-go or shopping in our farm store."
For any addition information about pizza nights at Luna Valley Farm, you can check out their website HERE.
The other popular pizza farm here in Eastern Iowa is courtesy of the food truck Stone Wall Pizza! They host pizza nights on Fridays throughout the summer at 3297 320th Street in Wellman.

Do I Need to Make a Reservation?
Nope! Unlike Luna Valley Pizza, you don't have to reserve a spot or order your pizza in advance at Stone Wall. There is a specific ordering process, though.
One you arrive at the farm, find a place you'd like to sit, then look to see what the nearest lettered flag is to you. That's your "zone." Once you know your zone, you can head to the patio to place your pizza order. Cash is preferred, but Venmo and credit cards are also accepted. Your pizzas will be brought out to you when they're done.
What Should I Bring?
Stone Wall recommends bringing lawn chairs or blankets to sit on, but they do have small tables and ironing boards (which they say make good tables!) available to use. You are also allowed to bring your own beverages, including alcohol, or you can purchase some on location. There is a cash bar with beer and cocktails, plus water and pop.
What Kind of Pizza Do They Serve?
Much like Luna Valley, Stone Wall has a menu that changes from week to week. The Friday menu for each week is typically posted to social media on Tuesdays. All of the pizzas are cooked in a wood-fired brick oven with homemade dough, hand-grated cheese, and fresh veggies. Some of the specialty options from past events include Chicken Fajita, Veggie Delight, Pickle Wrap, Hawaiian, Meat Lovers, and dessert pizza!
