Czech Village Bank Robbery Being Investigated

Shortly before noon on Wednesday, Cedar Rapids police were called to a robbery at the U.S. Bank in Czech Village.

The bank at 129 16th Ave. SW was reportedly robbed at 11:47 a.m. and the suspect is described as a 6 ft.tall black male and wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt. No one was hurt and the suspect did not display a weapon.
