As the calendar turns to May, Caitlin Clark fever continues to surge. The WNBA season begins in a couple of weeks, and Clark continues to make waves wherever she goes. She attended an Indiana Pacers playoff game and got two standing ovations! She was asked to sign countless autographs, including something I would have never thought to have signed by an athlete!

Oh, the story he or she will be able to tell someday. And fans of all ages are continuing to purchase Caitlin Clark merchandise when stores have it in stock! One of those stores, Dick's Sporting Goods, made a huge announcement Monday that is taking Caitlin Clark nationwide!

WHAM reports that Caitlin Clark will have her team apparel sold at all Dick's Sporting Goods locations across the United States. She becomes the first female athlete to have her clothing sold in all 724 Dick's Sporting Goods stores in the United States. Clark is just the 4th athlete to have their apparel sold nationwide at Dick's stores, joining Lionel Messi, Travis Kelce, and Colorado football coach Deon Sanders.

As with all topics involving Caitlin Clark, some are critical of the deal. They question why not carry more than just Caitlin Clark merchandise. Why not Angel Reese or Kamilla Cardoso? Once again, Clark is the trailblazer. If her merchandise sells out nationwide, it paves the way for other female athletes to join her at sporting goods stores across the nation.

The Indiana Fever tip-off their season on May 14th in Connecticut. The game will be televised on ESPN2.
