Brain & Courtlin Will ‘Hop’ to a New Place for May Listener Lunch

We're ready to try something new!

Very rarely do we announce a Listener Lunch destination that both Brain and I have never been to before, but that's the case for May. We are excited to announce that we're headed over to Red Frog in the Czech Village every Tuesday next month!

Red Frog has a long legacy here in Cedar Rapids. According to a 2020 article from the Cedar Rapids Gazette, "Al's Red Frog first opened at 88 16th Ave. SW, Cedar Rapids. It was more recently called just Red Frog, then the Frog Pub & Eatery, followed by Dirty Shirley's bar, which closed at the end of April during the pandemic shutdown." The restaurant had another brief shutdown in February of 2022 while new owners took over, but it officially reopened in March and has a new menu to try!

Red Frog is known for their amazing wings, but they also offer burgers, sandwiches, salads, wraps, and a variety of appetizers, including frog legs. I'm excited to try the Belly Bites, Pickle Fries, and Saucy Balls! Here are some of the delicious photos from Red Frog's Facebook page:

If you want to try all the delicious food Red Frog has to offer, we would love to take you and your coworkers out for lunch in May!
