Bags Tournament This Weekend To Benefit March Of Dimes

It's time for the Fourth Annual Lincoln Valenta BagsTourney! This event raises money each year for the March of Dimes. The tournament is this Sunday, August 26th, at Jerseys Pub and Grub. Join us for a day of fun and fundraising starting with registration at 10:00 a.m.

The March of Dimes is an organization that leads the way with research and programs that promote healthier pregnancies for all moms. Your donation fights birth defects, premature birth and infant loss.

The Valenta family started this tournament in honor of their son Lincoln, who was born over 3 months premature and weighed just 2 pounds 10 ounces. His first 98 days of life were spent in the NICU.

Lincoln is now 8 years old, and living a healthy and happy life. Much of this is possible thanks to treatments made available through medical research by the March of Dimes.

The tournament is just $40.00 per team for advanced registrations. If you sign up the day of, it's an extra $10.00. The last three years the Valenta family was able to donate over $2,000 with proceeds from this tournament.

Even if you don't plan to enter, stop out anyway! There will be raffle tickets, a 50/50 drawing and plenty of great food and drinks. It's a family-friendly event that's open to anyone that wants to stop by.
