An Iowa City Teen Might be Featured on ‘The Voice’ This Season [VIDEO]

We've already seen one Iowa-native on 'The Voice' so far this season, but we'll hopefully be seeing another one very soon!

'The Voice' is now approaching week three of the 'Blind Auditions,' with the coaches' teams filling up very quickly. The first audition for the entire season was a man named Chris Weaver, who we found out is actually from Des Moines, although he lives in New York now. But now we have ANOTHER native Iowan who auditioned for the show, and this one is a little closer to home.

Abbie Callahan is a sophomore at West High School in Iowa City. According to the Iowa City Press-Citizen, "Although strict confidentiality surrounds the contestants at this level, Abbie’s mother Kate Callahan thinks there is a pretty good chance we might see her daughter on the prime time show during the next couple of weeks, one way or another." Abbie will either have her audition (or a clip of it) air on TV and get a chair turn, have her audition air and NOT get a chair turn, or her audition will not air at all. My guess is that it will be aired, since Abbie seems to be INCREDIBLY talented at such a young age. Unfortunately, we can't know anything until the rest of the Blind Auditions episodes make it to TV.
