A Two-Day Taco Bash is Coming to Eastern Iowa
Get ready for Mexican food! The Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds in Davenport will be hosting the "Taco 'Bout A Party Taco Fiesta Bash" next weekend!
We haven't had many fairs or festivals in 2020, so when we hear about one, especially one that involves food, we have to share it with you! Next Friday and Saturday, the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds at 2815 W Locust Street will be putting on a two-day taco festival. Some of the vendors providing delicious food for the event (more will be announced) include:
- Ganzo's
- Greek Garden Gyros
- Jada's Funnel Cakes
- Jeff's Market
- La Finca
- Peking Food
- Smokin Butt BBQ
- State Fair Taffy
- Westmorelands Fair Food
Not only is this your chance to enjoy tacos and fair food in a festival environment, but it's also your chance to see a little live, local music! The event will feature four different bands/musicians. On Friday, Adam Keith and Dirt Road Rockers will perform, with The Crooked Cactus Band and Casey Muessigmann scheduled for Saturday. Here are the exact times:
- Adam Keith - Friday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Dirt Road Rockers - Friday from 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
- The Crooked Cactus Band - Saturday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
- Casey Muessigmann - Saturday from 9:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
Also on Saturday will be the Last Bash Demo Derby. That's set to begin at 4 p.m. and will cost $15 for adults and $10 for ages 6 to 12.
