A CR Restaurant Will Begin Serving Food at Another Area Bar

Get ready for loose meat sandwiches on the Southwest side of Cedar Rapids!

Earlier this week, Loosies in Cedar Rapids teased a big announcement on Facebook. If your guess is a second location, you're kind of right! The restaurant, located at 1611 32nd St NE, revealed yesterday (July 6th) that they will begin serving food out of another Cedar Rapids bar & restaurant this weekend. The announcement reads:

"[Loosies] will be opening up another location inside Stadium Bar and Grill starting this Saturday July 9th from 11am-8pm! Come check us out and cheers to Loosies now on the SW side of town."

According to the post, Loosies will be serving up their menu inside Stadium everyday except Monday for both lunch and dinner. As you can guess from the name, the restaurant is known for their loose meat sandwiches, but they also serve up grilled pork tenderloins, chili dogs, mac & cheese, potato salad, and more. Stadium Bar & Grill is located across from Veterans Memorial Stadium at 957 Rockford Rd SW in Cedar Rapids. They're open Tuesday and Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Thursdays from 11 a.m. to midnight, Fridays from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to midnights, and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. You can check out their Facebook page HERE.
