98.1 KHAK First Responder Friday Salutes Chris Paul

Each Friday morning at 6:30 a.m., 98.1 KHAK's Brain & Courtlin pay tribute to an eastern Iowa First Responder. The weekly honoree receives a $25 gift card to Wild Hogs Saloon and Eatery in Walford and a $25 gift card to Honor and Respect.

Today we honor Chris Paul, who was nominated by his wife Nicole! The entry reads:

"My husband Chris Paul is an EMT on the Tipton Ambulance Service. He volunteers many hours away from our family to provide for our amazing community because he truly loves to help! This guy truly doesn’t know how to say 'no' when it comes to lending a helping hand! Chris is also an Army veteran. He deployed 3 times in his career with the Army National Guard. He’s been an amazing role model to our two beautiful boys, as well. Chris has spent his whole life giving to everyone else. I can’t think of a more deserving individual. He is definitely a 'HERO' our books!"
