Let's be honest...
One of the best feelings in the world is grabbing that extra greasy slice of pizza or that juicy burger after a fun night out with friends.
Now, UNI students who spend a night out on the town can enjoy dinner...or maybe breakfast at a 24-hour diner that's opening in Waterloo. This is set to be an ideal spot for third shift workers who want a hot meal!
In a report from the Waterloo/Cedar Falls Courier, a new restaurant is set to open that will provide classic comfort food for the Cedar Valley at all hours of the day.
The new spot, Mike's Diner will hold approximately 150 people and have twenty-eight booths and tables.
Also, the restaurant will employ approximately fifty workers.
Where Will the Diner Be Located?

It reads "Coming Soon...Mike's Diner."

What Sort of Food Will They Serve?
From the sound of things, it looks like Mike's will serve up that classic American diner style of food.

When Will It Open Up for Business?
While this Perkins has sat idle for four years, it won't take that much time for this new diner to get up and running. According to reports, Mike's Diner is set to open sometime in March.
There is no specific date that has been announced just yet, but we will keep you updated as we get closer to the eventual opening day.
