2016 Racing Season Wraps Up At Two Local Tracks This Weekend

Independence Motor Speedway and the Benton County Speedway in Vinton will wrap up the 2016 racing season this weekend.

Saturday night, it's Albert Auto Night at the races at Independence. IMCA Modifieds will be racing for $1,000 to win. Also running are the IMCA Stock Cars, SportMods, Hobby Stocks, and Indee Cars. Fans in attendance Saturday night will have chances to win great prizes such as a TV, grills, gift cards and much more. Hot laps are at 6 p.m. with racing to follow.

Sunday night, the Benton County Speedway in Vinton will wrap up it's 2016 with "Iowa's Bravest Salute to Soldiers Season Championship." Hot laps get underway at 6 p.m. with racing to follow.
