4th of July concert

Logan Mize, one of the performers at our 4th of July show in Cedar Rapids, releases his five-song EP 'Pawn Shop Guitar' today. It includes his current hit "Can't Get Away from a Good Time," along with four other songs he had a hand in writing.

We were told that when the Medallion Hunt ended, the Freedom Festival Schedule of Events would be released.  And since the Medallion was located earlier, and the winners were awarded today, the Freedom Fest crew has delivered the schedule to us.  Get ready for another amazing year, loaded with old favorites, and plenty of new things to look forward to.

The KHAK Thomas Dostal Developers Freedom Festival Concert on the 4th of July features a great lineup, but the show is just part of the fun you'll have that night in downtown Cedar Rapids!

Eric Paslay was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes as a boy, but he's refused to let it affect his life. He also hasn't forgotten those afflicted with the disease, even as his career continues to grow by leaps and bounds.

We are excited to present the Thomas Dostal Developers Freedom Festival Concert on July 4th featuring Eric Paslay, Chuck Wicks, A Thousand Horses, Logan Mize, and Natalie Stovall and The Drive. This will definitely be a night you won't want to miss with five national acts taking the stage at the McGrath Amphitheatre concluding with the celebration of Freedom Fireworks.

We announced this morning the five acts that will be coming to the Thomas Dostal Developers Freedom Festival Concert at the McGrath Amphitheater on Saturday, July 4th. KHAK is proud to welcome Eric Paslay with special guests Chuck Wicks, A Thousand Horses, Logan Mize, and Natalie Stovall & The Drive.

You may recognize him from the TV show "Nashville" or season 8 of "Dancing With the Stars - and now you can see him live in Cedar Rapids!

The group A Thousand Horses only has one single, "Smoke". But the band from Nashville is already garnering lots of attention.

Logan Mize will be second to the stage on the 4th of July at KHAK & Thomas Dostal Developers' Freedom Festival concert.
