I've been attending the Great Jones County Fair since I was a baby, so I know that the five best days of summer always come the third week in July. I've spent hours of my life waiting in line to get on the track for standing room only tickets. In the past, I usually go to wait in line around 2 pm, which usually will get me in the first or second row in front of the stage. This year was the longest wait I have ever put myself through.

There is nothing quite like being on the track for the concerts. I can attest to holding Blake Shelton's hand and even having Kimberly from Little Big Town asking me if I was okay when I was half thrown onto the edge of the stage when someone behind me wanted a guitar pick. This year, I knew I wasn't going to come late for a big name artist like Tim McGraw.

When I arrived to get in line around noon there was already about twenty people ahead of me. The people around me came from places over two hours away to see Tim McGraw and Chasin' Crazy. While waiting, I was able to enjoy the stock car racesand chat with the people around me.

After the races ended around 2 pm, a tour bus pulled onto the track, circling it and honking. Everyone in line could only assume it had to be Tim McGraw. At around 2:20 pm, the real entertainment started. Men started filing out of the bus and I noticed a semi with a red front open up. From what we could see, it was a workout facility on wheels. It started with some men in the distance doing pull-ups inside of the semi. Then they walked around the back of the semi, completely into our view.

I always attest my small camera to have a great zoom, and it proved true. After we started to realize who the men could be, Tim and his band members, smartphone technology came into use. We googled "Tim McGraw Workout" and found photos of him. Sure enough, it was Tim in the flesh (shirtless in the hot afternoon heat) and his band. They did push-ups and worked with kettlebells in our view for a good hour in front of us.

A few years ago, Tim admitted that he started doing three-hour cross-fit workouts to keep his body in shape. These photos prove that the hard work continues to pay off. In my opinion, as great as it would be to work out with him, I think I'd feel a bit self-conscious next to someone with abs like these.
