More than a decade ago, Carrie Underwood became America's Sweetheart on 'American Idol.' She has since become a music icon who makes her first-ever trip to Monticello in 2016.

Each year, when I thought... who could John Harms and the Great Jones County Fair crew bring to Monticello next, Carrie Underwood would often come to mind. I can no longer think that... they've got her! Carrie performs Friday, July 22nd at next year's Great Jones County Fair. No ticket details have been announced yet, but when they are you'll be the first to know.
