The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series was in Michigan over the weekend. The Quicken Loans 400 was won by Jimmie Johnson as he took his first ever win at Michigan.

3 Iowan's qualified for the race Sunday. Michael Annett in the #7 Pilot/Flying J Chevrolet qualified 37th and finished 21st, a few spots ahead of NASCAR standout Carl Edwards who finished 23rd. Brett Moffit had his 2nd start in the #66 Toyota Let's Go Places qualified 34th and ended up finishing 34th. Landon Cassill in the CRC Brakleen Chevrolet started 39th and finished 35th.

Annett and Cassill race weekly in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. Moffitt has signed a contract with Michael Waltrip Racing and is scheduled to run another 2-4 races in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series this season.
