Girlfriend has problems with boyfriend's "friend"

Hey Brain and Steele,

I've been seeing a guy for about 5 months now. I really care for him a lot. We've said the I love yous and everything....

Here' s the dilemma. He has a friend who is a girl. They go to lunch & hang out and he told me that she has come on to him in the past, but he did nothing about it. It's never bothered me, an he swears that she is like a sister & nothing more. She texts and calls him quite a bit and it seems like if she knows we are together she does it even more. I've only met her once & she seemed nice, so I think she just does not want my boyfriend to be with anyone so that he can always be there for her whenever she needs him.

Am I wrong to let this upset me? I told him he will never be able to be in a relationship with anyone if this friend of his continues like she is. I am just wondering what others think. I don't want to lose him, but I am not sure how much longer I can handle her craziness.
