As we all know the downtown Davenport has been flooded for weeks, and yesterday's HESCO barrier breach only made things worse.

Today Whitey's Ice Cream announced that now through May 17th, all proceeds from the sale of their Mississippi Mud Ice Cream will go to relief efforts from the flood in Davenport.

This isn't the first time that the legendary ice cream company has used this flavor to raise funds after a natural disaster. It was created after the Great Flood of 1993, and was used in September of 2017 for disaster relief after Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma.

Not only can you pick it up in one of their eight locations throughout the Quad Cities, but you can also pick it up at HyVee too. Just like in the past all the proceeds raised will go to the American Red Cross.
