Where’s the Beef? In Nebraska the Favorite Burger is Located in Lincoln
The smell of a good burger travels. If you've ever passed through a neighborhood where someone was cooking some hamburgers. The smell wafts and conjures memories and stirs culinary thoughts. As burgers go, if you enjoy them, you probably have a way you like them. There's a lot to choose from from smashed up to the world's largest commercially available burger at Mallie's Sports Grill & Bar at 340 lbs. You have to call ahead for that one. Now we've covered where the beef is how about condiments? What do you take on the burger? Then. the burger is not complete without a bun. The bun can make or break a burger. If you've ever had a stale bun with a good burger, it kinda takes away from the taste.
So many things go into a good-tasting burger and the fact that many of us can choose one location as the best is, to use a culinary term, sweet.
Four score and seven years ago or earlier this month, Reader's Digest decided to look into the Best Burgers in the U.S. and found the best in each of the 50 states.
The Cornhuskers have one restaurant they love more than any other when it comes to the hamburger. This is no lie, it's 100% honest according to Trip Advisor. The restaurant that has the best burger in the entire state of Nebraska is Honest Abe's.
The Count is one of the burgers Reader's Digest said was the best of the bunch. The burger is topped with black forest ham, Swiss cheese, raspberry jam, a fried egg, and cinnamon cream cheese. Honest Abe's has several locations and each has rotating burgers that change on the regular. The Count may have been one of those rotating burgers.
There's an art to food photography and whoever is doing it for Honest Abe's is capturing delicious very well.
