What’s Your Favorite Cold Weather Slow-Cooker Recipe?
I am not ashamed to admit that I am not the world's best cook. I have maybe six different recipes that I rotate between each week, which can get pretty boring. It's not that I don't like to cook, I just don't like all the dang clean-up that comes afterward. Plus, as I said earlier, I'm not great at it.
The one kitchen appliance I could not live without is my Crock-Pot. You mean I can just throw a bunch of ingredients into a hot bowl and come back in six hours to a full meal? GENIUS. Now that it's getting cold outside, I find myself using my Crock-Pot more and more. My favorite recipes include a super simple white chicken chili, my mom's chicken noodle soup, a chicken and rice dish, and a turkey tortilla soup. Other than that, though, I got nothin'. That's where you come in!
I am on the hunt for delicious (and easy) slow-cooker recipes. Yeah, I could just google some, but then I have to sort through hundreds and hundreds of them, hoping that they actually taste good. I'd rather have recommendations from people that I trust. That's you, our listeners!
Do you have a tried-and-true slow-cooker recipe that you and your family absolutely love in the fall/winter? I would be super grateful if you shared it with me! Please post your favorite or a link to your favorite in the comments below. I'll start by posting the link to one of mine: Slow Cooker Cheesy Chicken and Rice. I replace the corn with fresh bell peppers, but you can do whatever you want. Enjoy! :)
