What’s Your #1 Favorite Fair Food? [PHOTOS]

Hands down, my favorite part of summer is going to fairs and concerts. Lucky for me, I got to attend BOTH at the Great Jones County Fair last night in Monticello! There was no way I was going to survive that extreme heat without some sustenance, so I got to indulge in the world of fair food. I ended up eating three different times last night, with my first meal being nachos with extra cheese. It's a tradition!

Later on in the afternoon, a friend of mine purchased some ribbon fries and set them down in front of me. What was I supposed to do, NOT eat some?

And then, post-concert, I decided to get something for the walk back to the car. I tried my very first gyro and it was DELICIOUS.

I'm looking forward to heading back to the fair tonight for round two, where I will most definitely get something fried! Here are some other goodies I've had at the Great Jones County Fair in the past few years:
