There are so many great things in Iowa. We have beautiful fields, rolling hills, three great state colleges, and other wonderful private ones too... But, we also have our share of dumb and kinda scary criminals. No, I'm not talking about the biggest of all scary criminals, John Wayne Gacy, I'm talking about one that we can (kinda) laugh at.

FOX 23 out of Tulsa, Oklahoma picked up the story about a man named Jeromy Anderson who stands accused of chasing the woman through a casino in Davenport on Easter Sunday with an ax. Yes, an ax. Now, luckily the victim was uninjured and, she requested an order of protection against the 43-year old Anderson.

No worries about him doing this again. Well, for now anyway. Anderson has been charged with a felony, along with misdemeanor counts of carrying a weapon, disorderly conduct, domestic abuse, going armed with intent, and also having more hair on his face than his head. Okay, that I made up.

(See, axes are GREAT for wood! Not for casinos. This ax is NOT the one used in the alleged assault. It's just a picture. Of an ax... being used for what axes are intended to be used for.)

This all went down at the Rhythm City Casino. Anderson's bond has been set at $8,000. That is unless he did REALLY well playing the slots before he went on the alleged ax hunt.
