Furry Friday is sponsored by Theisen's Home Farm Auto

This week we welcomed another adorable, adoptable animal into the KHAK studio for our latest edition of 'Furry Friday.' Meet Tippy!

Courtlin

Tippy is around 10-months old and is believed to be a border collie/lab mix. He was brought to Iowa from Missouri with several other dogs that lived in the same home as him, so we know he gets along with other pups. It took him a little while to warm up when he visited the KHAK studio this week, but once he did, he was such a sweet boy! The description from Safe Haven of Iowa County's website says:

"Tippy can be a little shy at first, but warms up quicky and is then full of energy!  When he slows down he can be very loving, and is such a great pup.  He certainly seems to have a lot of potential and appears to be carrying some of those extra intelligence genes we expect in Border Collies."

Tippy doesn't have much training, so he needs a family that can patiently work on obedience with him. He gets along great with kids! In addition, he will likely need a big, fenced in yard to help him burn off some of that puppy energy.

If you're interested in meeting Tippy and seeing if he's a good fit for your family, you can visit Safe Haven's website for more information HERE.

Don't forget about Safe Haven's annual Fur Ball fundraiser next weekend! The drive-thru event will take place on July 11th from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tickets are $25 and must be purchased by next Tuesday, July 7th. Get more details HERE.
