This or That? Iowans Answer Our Toughest Questions [GALLERY]

Every Thursday, we present you with some of life's hardest questions!

'This or That Thursdays' have been a staple on our show for several years now. For the first few years, I would actually add up all the votes by hand from the Facebook comments, which was a huge pain in the butt. But, in late 2023, I found an easier way to do it. Voters can either 'LIKE' or 'LOVE' the post to cast their vote, and Facebook tallies up the votes for me! SO much better.

Since we started counting votes the easy way, we have received lots more participation on our 'This or That Thursday' posts. Sometimes we can predict the winners ahead of time, but many times, we're totally surprised by the results! Whenever I think it's going to be a close race, one of the options ends up dominating. That's the fun of a 'This or That Thursday!'

The concept of 'This or That' Thursday is very simple: we present you with two options, and you have to choose between them. It's THIS or THAT. Some people still choose to not follow directions and say "both" or "neither," or choose something that's not even an option, but we just ignore those votes and focus on the "this" or the "that." We know it's tough sometimes, but that's the whole point of the game!
