There’s a Restaurant in Waterloo That’s Painted Like the Sistine Chapel [PHOTOS]
Galleria De Paco is definitely one of the most unique restaurants in Iowa!
If you've never had a chance to visit the Sistine Chapel in Italy, that's ok, because the next best thing is located way closer! Galleria De Paco is a restaurant located in Waterloo that has been painted to resemble The Sistine Chapel. Street artist Paco Rosic is the mastermind behind the restaurant, and spent four months creating his masterpiece using spray paint. He used about $9,000 worth of Krylon spray paint in the process. According to The Courier, Rosic's dream to recreate the Sistine Chapel started when he was just 6-years-old. Galleria De Paco was originally just going to be a gallery, but it turned into so much more.
The artwork looks absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I might have to add it to my restaurant list!
