The Super Bowl Recipe That Iowans are Googling the Most
In case you haven't heard, there's a BIG football game coming up on Sunday! There are a bunch of different reasons to watch: the commercials, the halftime show, the actual GAME, but a lot of non-sports fans like me are interested in something else... the food!
General Mills knows how important snacks are during the Super Bowl, so they used data from their Betty Crocker, Pillsbury, and Tablespoon websites to determine what the top search is for game day food in each state. The winner for Iowa is a classic dish that you should definitely have at your party: Pigs in a blanket (if you're interested in the recipe, click HERE).
The rest of the Midwest seems to be eating good, too! Here are some of their most popular searches:
- Minnesota - Tater tot casserole/hot dish
- Missouri - Hamburgers
- Wisconsin - Pinwheels
- Nebraska - Hot wings
- Illinois - Chex mix
- South Dakota - Hummus
What will you be making for Sunday's game? Leave your recipes in the comments!
