A new study analyzed Google searches to figure out which Pokemon people in each state are trying to find the most, and it's no surprise that Iowans are looking for water Pokemon.

Pokemon GO has managed to take over the world in just a week, and it's no secret that I am one of those street zombies, constantly checking my phone for new Pokemon to catch. I'll tell you what, though, I've been getting an insane amount of exercise. Yesterday I went on a four-mile walk just so I could hatch my 10k egg (it was a Pinsir, in case you were wondering).

Decluttr took a look at some Google searches to figure out which states were looking for which Pokemon, and this is how they did it: "We took phrases like ‘where is…’ and ‘how to find…’, paired them up with the Pokémon in the game and measured the volume of searches in each state."

In a land-locked state like Iowa, bodies of water can sometimes be hard to come by, so it's no surprise that Iowans have been hunting out Vaporeons (an evolution of Eevee). It looks like Eevee was the top search for a lot of other states, but we are the only one with Vaporeon as our #1. Luckily, I already got myself a Vaporeon this weekend.

If anyone knows where I can find a Pikachu, though, you let me know!
