What have people been shopping for this holiday season? The answers probably won't surprise you!

The website HomeSnacks recently put together a list of the most popular Christmas gifts for 2020, and then broke that list down to figure out the most in-demand toy in each state. The article reads:

"We started by perusing Google Shopping 100 to see which gifts were most popular nationwide. Then, we researched which states were searching for those gifts the most, relative to other states."

It won't come as a shock to most that electronics are the most in-demand items this holiday season. Video game consoles, phones, and Apple products dominated the 2020 map, but it was a different device that took the top spot in Iowa. Apparently, Iowans are after the Fitbit Versa this year. According to their official website, the Fitbit Versa 2 Smartwatch normally costs around $180! No wonder it's on so many people's Christmas lists.

The Fitbit Versa was also the most popular item in Wisconsin and South Dakota. Here are some of the picks for other Midwest states:

Some of the other in-demand items on the list include video games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Assassin's Creed Valhalla, North Face Boots, Harry Potter Mystery Wands, air fryers, the Barbie Dream House and Dream Camper, and Simpl Dimpl toys.

I actually did include one of these items on my Christmas list this year! I asked my mom to get me an air fryer. I don't care about the brand or how fancy it is, I just really want to be able to make extra crispy tater tots.
