The Mississippi Valley Fair is Still On for This Summer

According to the Quad-City Times, "The Mississippi Valley Fair is a go for the week of August 4-9 in Davenport, but it will be downsized."

That means no national musical acts at this year's fair. The story indicated they will book some local bands and there will be a midway. This, of course, is all because of the COVID-19 pandemic and the safety concerns surrounding it.

There will be food at the fair, that part won't change. Extra hand washing stations will be set up and social distancing will be closely monitored on the entire grounds. People will NOT be required to wear face coverings.

There will be rides, but you'll have to wait a little longer as the workers will be sanitizing the rides in between each use. You thought the lines were long before, get ready for an even longer wait now with the new rules.
