It's being reported that the Las Vegas shooter has ties to Iowa. According to the Clinton Herald, the shooter (whose name we choose to not mention) was born April 9, 1953 at the former Jane Lamb Hospital. The report states a birth certificate filed at the Clinton County Recorder's office was released showing the above information and the shooters' parents names were listed under the aliases, Patrick and Dolores. This could be due to the fact that the suspects' father was "involved in crime and was once on the FBI Most Wanted list."

It's unfortunate that someone like this has ties to our beloved state. But, instead of focusing too much on the negative and people who don't deserve attention, let's honor those who DO matter. The 515 injured and 58 lives that were lost in the horrific events at the Route 91 Music Festival in Las Vegas. We can not, and WILL NOT let hate win. Our hearts go out to all of the victims and their families. Here are their names:
